On Independence Day 1919, Jack Dempsey pulverized defending champion Jess Willard in what is often considered the most lopsided defeat in a Heavyweight Championship bout. These three collectibles did what Willard failed to do, survive the onslaught of the “Manassa Mauler.” Included are 1.) dated 7/4/19 Willard vs. Dempsey ticket stub (VG-EX, bleacher); 2.) original 11 x 5-1/2” dual-sided blank score/post card with mild soiling (EX) and 3.) original 11x11 seating chart for fight which occurred in Toledo, Ohio (EX to MT).
