Description

All business when he took the hill, Hall of Fame fireballer Walter Johnson conveys a similar demeanor in this original photograph. Captured during Johnson's tenure at the helm of the Cleveland Indians (1933-1935), the black-and-white likeness shows Johnson clad in a bow tie and suit coat (with white fedora in tow) standing in front of a tunnel at Cleveland Stadium. The crystal clear photo measures 2-3/4 x 4-1/2" with a few minor creases confined to the thin white border.
